As you know we have the reputation of creating and organising the best events in the world like the The Million where players travelled from far and wide to the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in The Bahamas to attend the first ever $1 million backgammon tournament organised by Player International Ltd.

The week was an amazing adventure of backgammon, welcome cocktails, gala dinners and beautiful scenery. The Final match between two online qualifiers was an all time classic affair.

Andreas Märtens became the worlds biggest ever winner in backgammon and received a cheque for over $600,000!. Player International who created and organised this event are extremely proud to have taken backgammon to such heights and congratulate Andreas on a superb win. Upcoming Events:

Turbogammon.com UK Classic Player International are currently finalizing plans for a UK Classic Event to be held in London in January 2008 so keep your diaries free, the details of this event will be announced very soon. What we can tell you is that the event will be held in a fabulous London casino and offer a magnificent prize pool. This event will be produced for television and become a regular fixture on the international calendar. Online qualifiers will start on TurboGammon for this event in August 2007.

Miss Backgammon 2008 Entries for Miss backgammon 2008 can now be received. Please click on the link on the front page of the site and follow instructions on how to enter. The winner will be crowned Miss Backgammon 2008 by the current Miss Backgammon in London and enjoy a magnificent year and benefits with this prestigious title. Good luck girls!
